Each room is individually decorated with a vision of casual elegance with a bright, calming and comfortable ambiance.

King Suites & Rooms

Refugio Suite

Our Refugio Suite is our most popular and deluxe accommodation. It is a spacious two-room king suite located on the first floor of the Orchard House. It is quiet and uplifting with plenty of southern Cape Cod light. The suite has a private deck off of the bedroom, which faces the back lawn of the Inn. The kitchenette includes a sink, small refrigerator and microwave. The living room with its own television separate from the bedroom, has a comfortable leather sofa facing a gas-powered fireplace. The private bathroom has a shower/tub combination with plenty of room for your personal items.

Rates are for two people. Add $99.00 per night for each additional person.

Patio Suite

The Patio Suite, located in the Orchard House, is our most expansive suite. It has a private entrance; full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher; living room with separate television from the bedroom; king-size bedroom and a huge private patio. Perfect for longer stays! This is a walk-out suite located on the south side of the Orchard House with lots of windows and light. The private bathroom has a tiled stall shower.

Garden Room

Located on the first floor of the Main House, the spacious southern-facing Garden room is a quiet corner room with windows on the south and west sides. Two sliding glass doors lead out to your private patio, and provide easy access to the outdoor deck, swimming pool and gardens. This room comes with a small refrigerator, and an inviting gas fireplace offers additional warmth on cooler Cape Cod nights. The private bathroom has a tub/shower combination with plenty of room.

Bayberry Room

You’ll find serene and soothing colors in this spacious southern-facing corner king room on the second floor of the Orchard House. There are windows on the southern and western sides of the room which provide sunlight all day long. The view is to the south, overlooking the back lawn of the Inn. A gas fireplace adds coziness to the comfortable sitting area, and a writing desk is available as a spot to write your postcards to friends and family. The private bathroom has a tub/shower combination with plenty of room for your personal items.

Sea Meadow Room

Located on the second floor of the Orchard House, our Sea Meadow Room has windows on all three sides. Its cathedral ceilings add to making for a light and bright experience. The view is to the north, overlooking the road toward Drummer Boy Park, which is especially romantic in the winter when the historic windmill is decorated with Holiday Lights. The room has a writing desk, perhaps for an entry in your travel journal, a comfortable sitting area and a gas-powered fireplace. The private bathroom has a tub/shower combination with plenty of room for your personal items.

The private bathroom has a tub/shower combination with plenty of room for your personal items. The view is to the north, over the road toward Drummer Boy Park. For convenience, this room also has its own designated parking space.

Queen Suites & Rooms

Emerson Room

Our Emerson Room is conveniently located on the first floor of the Main House, directly next to the Main Gathering Room. This room was the kitchen in the original 1846 farmhouse and has a warm welcoming feeling because of its wide pine floor boards and original brick fireplace. It is a corner room on the northwest side of the house, is light and bright with three windows on two walls, and gets wonderful late afternoon/evening sunlight streaming in through the western window. The bed is a fairly high queen-sized four-poster bed. The private bathroom has a stall shower, with built-in drawers and closet.

Acorn Room

Our Acorn room is a popular quiet hideaway. Secluded on the second floor of the Main House, the room is named for the acorns that top the four posters on the bed. This is a sunny dormered room with three windows on the east and west sides, which provides for wonderful cross-breezes – especially nice in the springtime when the 100+ year-old cherry tree is blooming just outside the windows. The private bathroom includes a double-stall tiled shower and ample space for your personal items.

Loft Room

Ideal for extended stays, our romantic queen Loft Suite offers a private second-floor retreat in the Main House. This spacious corner room is on the northwest corner of the house, enjoys lots of sunlight and has charming original features, including the original circa 1846 steep staircase. There is a living room area with a small couch and two chairs, electric fireplace and television. The queen bed is in a separate space with a wall-mounted television as well. The suite includes a butler area with small refrigerator, Keurig Coffee machine and electric tea kettle for your 24/7 coffee and tea desires. The private bath has a single stall shower and ample space for your personal items. The view from the room is to the north toward Drummer Boy Park, and it enjoys warm, late afternoon westerly sunlight.

Stay at the Inn By the Sea, Brewster

This Valentine’s weekend 2020 I chose Brewster and the Cape to propose to my fiance! I could not have picked a better inn to stay at. In all ways the Inn by the Sea is warm, comforting, and fun for all ages. Amy helped plan my post proposal fun secretly with chocolate covered strawberries, flowers, champagne, and mimosas in the morning!! Thank you Amy and staff for an amazing, memorable trip!

Great Amy is a great innkeeper. Breakfast was great a healthy and decadent choice. We had both outstanding. Are going back again this weekend. Our room was great both a fireplace and nice sitting area.

A very enjoyable and relaxing stay

This inn is always very satisfactory and the owner pays a lot of attention to detail. The breakfasts are so wonderful and the rooms are beautiful and relaxing. This is our second time here and we enjoyed it thoroughly.
