The Best Places to Watch Fireworks on Cape Cod

The Best Places to Watch Fireworks on Cape Cod

From the parade in Chatham to a concert by the Barnstable Town Band, there’s plenty to do on Cape Cod for the Fourth of July! If you’re staying at Brewster By The Sea Inn for the holiday weekend, we highly recommend celebrating America’s birthday by watching these fireworks on Cape Cod:

Thursday, July 4th: Hyannis (25 minute drive)

Meander around Hyannis’ Main Street and take in all the village center has to offer – art galleries, restaurants, shops, and more – before heading to Aselton Park for the fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. If you head into town early enough, you might be lucky and grab a spot at one of the restaurants overlooking the water so you can enjoy the show over dinner and drinks!

Thursday, July 4th: Provincetown (52 minute drive)

Provincetown is a fishing and artists’ town located on the very tip of Cape Cod and the perfect place to celebrate any holiday, especially the Fourth of July. Visitors from all over the world gather on MacMillan Pier for the fireworks, which kick off at 8:45 p.m. There are endless dining options and shops to check out in Provincetown, so we recommend heading up early and taking time to explore one of our favorite Cape Cod towns!

Thursday, July 4th: Falmouth (56 minute drive)

Falmouth’s fireworks display was voted one of the best in the nation by Travel + Leisure Magazine, so it won’t disappoint! The town enacts road closures before the fireworks start, so plan to get there early.

Saturday, July 6th: Orleans (17 minute drive)

Rock Harbor is a bustling harbor on Cape Cod Bay in Orleans and offers one of the best sunsets on Cape Cod. Trees line the path of boats entering and exiting the harbor, making for a unique ocean view. Head to Rock Harbor on July 6th for the 8:45 p.m. fireworks show!

Aren’t coming to the Cape for the fourth? We still have rooms left in mid-July and August!

Stay at the Inn By the Sea, Brewster

This Valentine’s weekend 2020 I chose Brewster and the Cape to propose to my fiance! I could not have picked a better inn to stay at. In all ways the Inn by the Sea is warm, comforting, and fun for all ages. Amy helped plan my post proposal fun secretly with chocolate covered strawberries, flowers, champagne, and mimosas in the morning!! Thank you Amy and staff for an amazing, memorable trip!

Great Amy is a great innkeeper. Breakfast was great a healthy and decadent choice. We had both outstanding. Are going back again this weekend. Our room was great both a fireplace and nice sitting area.

A very enjoyable and relaxing stay

This inn is always very satisfactory and the owner pays a lot of attention to detail. The breakfasts are so wonderful and the rooms are beautiful and relaxing. This is our second time here and we enjoyed it thoroughly.
